Sarah will be 3 in less than a week! that is crazy!!! she is still talking about her party A LOT..she wants strawberries on her princess cake with 3 candles, she's picked out the perfect princess dress and crown, her and jesse have constructed a princess castle, she's informed me and reminds me several times a day what she wants for her birthday (a "pinano...like at grandma's").

she's dropped the princess part of ballerina and now she is simply a "bayyerina." i'm hoping she doesn't change her mind last minute about her party theme and want everything ballerina :)

along with birthdays come her 6 month check-ups. we went to see her eye doctor yesterday. this is the first time i've ever taken her by myself, and after working all night, it was not a fun appointment for either of us. she actually did really well considering we were there for 2 hours. she even sat willingly in the scary looking chair and put her chin in the little tray while he looked in her eyes. it wasn't until it was time to hold her down for eye drops that she freaked out. it took 3 of us to hold her to get them in. and then i had to restrain her after they were dilated while he pryed them open and she screamed at the top of her lungs. he had decided on a prescription for her, and after i had accepted that she would be leaving with glasses, he decided to wait since she would not be needing to see any fine print just yet.

first day of ballet class is saturday morning! i'll post pics of that soon :)
