all i can say is WOW!!! i worked last night, i finally slept late this afternoon, i woke up to jesse and sarah storming in my room to show me this...the princess knight! so this is what these two are up to when i'm not around. wow! sarah looks unhappy in this picture, but she was actually very excited about her "bunny, princess knight" costume that daddy made for her.

so i made the mistake of letting sarah help me pick out her birthday invitations. i asked her what kind of party she wanted and she said "a pink, princess party." how could i say no to that! we went saturday to pick out a few outfits for her 3 year pictures..this is the "bow" that she immediately went up to at the boutique and put on. now all she talks about is her party (which is a few weeks away). she went to daycare for a few hours today and apparently took it upon herself to invite her teacher "ms. laura" to her princess party...and then informed her that she could only come if she dressed up. while we were picking out invitations, i told her that we were having a small family party. she asked if we could get her a new princess dress for the big day, and then said that her cousin lily would need a "little princess dress." i told her that lily would probably not be able to come to her party. she got a sad look on her face and said "lily can borrow one of my princess dresses." coming from a toddler that isn't much into sharing, i thought that was very sweet that she was willing to share one of her dresses so that lily could come.

sarah got her vacuum out and started to clean..i asked her what she was doing. she simply said, "i'm getting ready for my party." i reminded her that it was still a few weeks away, she said she knew but she was going to get ready for it anyway.

it's raining!!!!!!!!! sarah taking a nap with daddy during the thunderstorm. almost 3, but still our sweet, little angel baby girl! this girl has been so funny lately. i never know what is going to come out of her mouth, or where she gets some of her comments from. i decided today that i really need to start writing some of them down, they're priceless! just a few i remember from today:

"I need to put daddy and kori in their crate." (she wants kori in his crate when he annoys her...not sure what jesse did for her to want him in his "crate")...this comment was before the knight costume incident!

"Here is your magic gift." (she had finished with her capri-sun juice, realized that if she blew into the straw the juice box would get bigger...she then presented me with my "magic gift."

"I was sick, but grandma made me feel better." sarah had a little fever and runny nose a few days ago, so instead of going to stay at grandma's while i worked, grandma came and stayed here to help out while jesse and i worked and slept, (and i'm still a little paranoid every time she has a fever that she'll have a seizure). her nose was runny again today and when i told her we needed to wipe her nose she told me again that she was sick, but grandma had made her feel better.

"I'll go get some books for my choo-choo train." sarah is really into lining things up..she will use anything and everything and make perfectly straight lines (aka..choo choo trains) all throughout the living room. she gets very upset when something messes her train up (usually the dog!). i'm not looking forward to the day when she drops the "choo-choo" part of choo-choo train. so sweet and innocent!

ahhhhhh! sweet sleep!
