Wow, what a difference ayear makes!!! As I was watching Sarah enjoy her last dance class this morning, it got me to thinking how different things are this May than last. Not bad different, just different. Here is sarah a year ago in her crib, obviously outgrowing it, still sleeping with her yellow teddy and pink blanket. Well she still sleeps with her pink blanket, but now that she's scared of bears, yellow teddy has been replaced with hello kitty and her crib was replaced with a toddler bed...and now our bed. She's learned to talk, skip, jump, count...along with lots of other things. Her personality has really shown itself this past year...and I have to say it's adorable!

There have been ups and downs this year. We're so thankful she's doing so well despite being a 31 weeker. She was discharged from her developmental doc this week since she's doing so well. It was so funny when Dr. Gus was checking her motor skills and asked her to stack some blocks. She smiled, looked at him and said "you do it!" She was of course perfectly capable of stacking the blocks, which she eventually showed him, but it was pretty funny. She started having the febrile seizures this past year, but we're thankful for a normal EEG and MRI. We've lost two very special people in the family, my grandma and cousin...but we're thankful for our time with them and feel better knowing they're in a better place.

And we're so excited about the next year! We will be moving in June to our new house, and feel so fortunate to be in a position to buy the house that has everything we want. I'm so, so excited about meeting my new niece in June! And we're so excited for my brother-in-law Bryan for graduating from Optometry school! Congrats! And just want to wish my brother a very Happy Birthday today!!!!!!!!!!!
