Well we've gotten some good reports from the docs lately. We've been to the eye, ear, and teeth doctor. Her ears looks good, however she still has both her tubes and if they don't fall out within the next few months, she'll have to have them removed. The eye doctor said her eyes look great! 20/30 in one eye, and 20/4o in the other. This was the first time she's been able to read the charts so we got a better idea of how well she can see. And her first trip to the dentist this week was great. She did so good and her teeth look "great." Sarah's been quite entertaining lately. She refers to herself as a "big princess." When she shows me her art projects when I pick her up from school, she tells me how "beautiful" they are and that we will be putting it on the fridge when we get home. If she doesn't like the "use-mick" in the car, she impolitely tells me that it needs to be changed asap. She likes to watch mickey mouse and loves to do the hot dog dance and yell "O'toooooooooooodles!" She's shortened thank you to "thanks." She always gets a burst of energy when it's time for bed...she usually doesn't fall asleep untl 10 or 11. She gets excited when she sees the letter "S." She can count to 12 (I'm not really up on development, so for all I know this may or may not be on track). However, I think it's amazing that she can count to 12! She knows lots of colors and shapes. She gets excited when she can see the moon, and then innocently asks "where'd the sun go?" She loves to sing "ring around the rosies" and "jesus loves me." It melts my heart when she reminds people that "that's MY mommy." She still very often refers to her daddy as "Jesse." So many little things that she does daily that make me smile :) Well it's official, our house is up for sale. The realtor put the sign in the yard last night (so if you know of anyone who wants a beautiful house send them our way). It's bittersweet...I love this house and have so many wonderful memories here. But it's time to move on, and Jesse and I are so excited!
