sarah and i had a great, and busy day. she went to preschool while i went shopping and worked in the yard (mom-i really wished you were here to help me...master gardener!). i bought her some bracelets while i was out and about. she loved them! amazing how kids love bracelets from the dollar store more than some of the most expensive toys.
now that the yard is cleaned up and the weather is perfect, sarah enjoyed playing in the backyard during our cook-out with dad.

i know i'm probably the only one who thinks sarah's artwork is the most beautiful thing ever, but i had to show off what she made me for mother's day at preschool. i was wondering why her little hands were stained pink last week after school. i'm so proud of her!!!!
sarah is sound asleep in bed early tonight. she got up at 5:30 this morning and snuggled with me in the recliner for awhile before breakfast (best part of my day!) sarah had a great day of playing in the sand at school. a trip to wally world to stock up for our cook-out. when daddy got home they chased the ice cream man down the street (literally chased him down) and got her first push-up sherbet (which she loved). next a surprise visit from grandpa. she chased bubbles in the backyard. she played with rocks out of the fountain, went down the slide about 50 times, and then enjoyed some yummy chips and queso for dinner. a day filled with junk food and fun...what could be better!?
