sarah thinks it's pretty funny that she was up in the middle of the night. she kept laughing for no reason and flashing this toothy smile.

i can't keep the girl out of the back yard! after breakfast, she brings me her shoes and goes to the backdoor and tries to open it...getting mad when she can't. she'll stay out there all morning. i've even been giving her lunch out there on nice days. haven't seen the chickens in awhile...i'm hoping they're gone for good!!!

sarah's mommy's day shirt. sad i only got to see her for a few hours on mother's day, but oh so happy she's mine! she was so busy playing over at grandma carol's, didn't get many pictures of her actually looking at the camera. she had a great time playing with her cousins.

i guess sarah needed a break from all the excitement. she was playing with her sidewalk chalk, and then just sort of laid down for a minute. of course, i was happy to take a break myself and lay down after working all night, even if it was on the concrete. she popped right back up soon after and carried on with her day of play.
