this is what happens when mom works 5 nights in a row...chocolate cake for dinner! nice jesse. a special thanks to my mom for coming to watch sarah today on short notice so i could get some much needed sleep! and for folding laundry and doing the dishes!! lots of babies in the nicu means lots of overtime for me this week.

taking a break from breakfast to play a little peek-a-boo. she actually said peek-a-boo for grandma today. she also said "diaper" and "stinky." sarah also learned where her tongue is today and likes to stick it out. she's also been telling me "thank you" every now and then when i give her something. the girl is smart! we had her 18 month check-up this week. everything looks good...height and weight in 30th and 40th percentile. still has a large head...80th percentile. physical therapy may be in sarah's near future to help with her walking. we're going to the developmental doctor in 2 weeks to get his opinion, but Dr. Kirk thinks she needs it. she's right on track with everything else developmentally.
