sweet baby! enjoying a nice peanut butter waffle...yum! she was in such a lovey, kissy mood this day. she leaned over to give me a kiss with her face a mess...but of course i accepted the peanut butter kiss! nothing better!

so sarah's had a touch of a runny nose the past few days. i suctioned her nose out yesterday with the bulb syringe. she got a hold of it tonight and tried to suck the snot out herself. it was hilarious. she's really into imitating anything and everything she sees. by the way, we were driving yesterday and she looked out the window at a tree and said her magic word.."ball." i said, that's a tree. the rest of the car ride and then again today every time we saw a tree, she said.."dree." so cute! and so smart!

i had just finished sarah's laundry and putting it away. when i finished, sarah started with the bottom drawer and gradually worked her way up taking everything out of each drawer. the mess stopped with the fourth drawer, which she couldn't quite reach! thank goodness!

sarah had a busy day today, and when she got sleepy, she grabbed her book, sat on the couch, and started reading before bed. we went to the developmental doctor for a check-up today, mainly to get his opinion on her not walking yet. he said that she's made so much progress since her last appointment. he said she's more of a thinker...likes to think through things before just acting. he said a lot of kids like this are very intelligent and creative. he also said that her knee walking is actually more difficult than actually walking. her muscles are fine and perfectly capable of walking when she's ready, so she won't need physical therapy. he said most kids her age throw a fit by the end of a long appointment like this, but sarah was playing and laughing. so to sum it up, the doc said we have a late blooming, well-behaved, good-natured, think things through little girl. she's perfect and we are so thankful that her difficult and early start to life doesn't seem to be causing her any problems!
