baby girl walks! at almost 19 months old!! this picture makes me want to cry. i'm so proud in all sarah's overcome, yet i'm sad the baby days are coming to an end. sarah had taken a couple of steps on her own over the weekend at grandma and grandpa's. we were sure she would start walking this week. jesse was a little sad thinking sarah would walk during the day and he would miss her first real steps. but she waited until jesse got home from work yesterday, and right before mom went to work for the night, and decided it was time. what perfect timing so we could both be there! kori's a little worried..."great. this girl can walk now and be even more annoying chasing me around!" poor kori...big girl sarah!

soon after she figured out the walking thing, she figured out how to get up without any help after falling down. here she is getting her balance and getting back up again...it looks like the baby einstein characters are cheering her on in the background. sarah's never watched tv before, but now she brings me the remote to turn on her baby einstein videos...great, here we go! she likes the animal video, and today she said "bird," when the birds came on. she soaks up so much information everyday. she amazes me (can you tell i'm a new mom!?)
